Attendance at the WAC conference. In March NZ KiwiBerry growers attended the World Association of Cooks Society Conference held in Auckland. This was a once in 10 year event for NZ to showcase the food and beverage industry. The show was well attended with a lot of interest shown in KiwiBerry with many seeing and tasting the fruit for the first time.

Storage trial.
As KiwiBerry has a relatively short shelf life compared to other fruit research is underway to see whether the storage life can be extended .Initial investigations have shown some improved storage life . Research will be repeated in 2007 to investigate the options further for the future.

Annual General Meeting.
The product group will be meeting in Mount Maunagaui 5 and 6th July 2006 to review the season. For further details contact the Executive officer.
